LOFT Personalized Stationery Nominated For Best New Product
Our LOFT line of personalized stationery has been selected as a finalist for Best New Product in the Paper Love category at the National Stationery Show being held in New York this month. LOFT cards are made from a luxuriously textured 51 point stock and printed on digital offset presses optimized for personalized and short run projects.
We are exhibiting at the National Stationery Show for the first time this year in booth 2888. Our core business provides personalized and short run printing and fulfillment services for professional photographers, web retailers, and specialty stationery brands. The show is being held in the Javits Center in New York City May 19th to 22nd.

Our ultra-thick LOFT cards are manufactured from Convertible Solution’s MultiLoft paper stock. The stock has been combined in 34, 51 and 68 point thicknesses to make flat greeting cards, specialty shaped cards and ornaments, business cards, coasters, placemats and fans for special events.

The LOFT Line of cards is printed on a 51 point paper, creating a substantial thick card that will impress even the harshest critic. LOFT paper has a hint of warmth in the white tone as well as a soft cotton texture. All LOFT products include 6 color printing for added depth and clarity.
The LOFT Line includes Greeting Cards, Shaped Cards, Ornaments, and Business Cards.
LOFT Greeting Cards are offered in 5×7 and 7×5 aspect ratio. They are sold individually with a minimum of 4 cards.
LOFT Shaped Cards are offered in 5 shapes specifically designed for the LOFT Line. These cards are sold individually with a minimum of 4 cards.
LOFT Ornaments are available in 6 holiday themed shapes and include a white ribbon. The LOFT Ornaments are sold in sets of 4 with the option of choosing 4 different designs per set.

Metal Prints Get Two Upgrades!

CUSTOM SIZE METAL PRINTS – Need a 9×37 or a 49×11 to fit a specific spot on your client’s wall? No problem, you can order any size not already offered in our permanent line of popular sizes up to 40×60. Same great Metal Prints as always. These are sold by the square inch at $0.25 per inch ($20.00 minimum applies to each print ordered).
How to order: Crop the image to the size you need. Open the Black River Imaging – ROES ordering software. Select the Metal Prints catalog and select the appropriate product tab. Drop your image into the layout (the entire image will fit into the layout). Then enter the custom size in the Options palette.
NEW! Standoff Posts!- Are you looking for a more commercial appeal for an office or retail wall? These 3/4” Standoff Posts will certainly do the trick! Start by using the holes in the print as a template. Simply screw the base of the posts into a stud or drywall, using the supplied anchors, then thread the outer cap on that holds the Metal Print to complete the look. Your custom artwork will be suspended 1” away from the wall. Drilled holes are included with the Standoff Posts.
Black River Imaging to Integrate HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press
Black River Imaging, an imaging lab for professional photographers, has purchased the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press, the fastest 13 x 19 inch format digital sheetfed press.
The 7600 Digital Press has the capacity to print four million color pages a month, increasing productivity and profitability. By utilizing the Enhanced Productivity Mode, throughput increases by 33% to 160 color ppm.
Operator intervention is reduced with intelligent automation which is powered by an enhanced Vision System. Print defects are identified in real time by the Automatic Alert Agent helping to reduce cost and increase profitability.
